im not saying i agree with him and hes 100% right but i see where hes coming from.

Oh yeah, I guess that makes sense. But in a sense, that could also be considered sexist against girls, implying that girls aren't cut out for any genre besides the "high school teen drama" genre. How about some variety, like the boys get? What about the zany slapstick comedies, and action shows, all that stuff? Why must girls always be pigeonholed into one specific category while the boys get to have all the fun?
you have a point. it can be considered sexist no matter what gender you are. theyre leaving out the male audience while singling out the "high school teen drama" as "for girls" when different people like different things.
